My First Sasa Shopping

It's been a month after this first time of me going to Sasa and shop a few things.
What makes me visit Sasa that day is that I need to buy some stuffs for me to bring on our travel to London and I heard good reviews from a friend about their affordable finds. Of course, I love shopping at affordable prices!

First, I have in mind is that we'll be taking long flights and that I need face mist, eye cream, facial mask (while on-board) and whats-not-to-love when travelling - also my time to pamper! So I went there to find some grabs. I went to a mall and looked for Sasa, and when I came in to the shop, first thing I grabbed is the very cute concealer brush ('cos I don't own one).
Then while looking around the shop, a sales staff approached me and helped me out about my queries. She's very patient to me despite that I quite have some questions because I'm confused with what to buy.
She helped with the eye masks and the facial masks because they have different options. I picked the Soothing & Moisturising Eye Masks and I also love to try the Cucumber Cooling Eye Pads. With the facial masks, I selected the Relaxing & Calming Lavender Masks.

On the plus side, they have special promotion for Skinlite items, I can't really remember the whole thing about it. Maybe you can go to Sasa and ask about it if they're still on with the promotion. It's something that if I buy 1 or 2 and free 1 or something... Sorry! I really can't remember about what exactly the promotion is.

I'm going to share with you a photo below with the things I shopped at Sasa. Oops! Before I forget, I also bought the Evian face mist... I really love it! I used the eye masks and the mist while on-board (insert: transfer a small amount to 3-ml plastic spray bottle), and the masks when we reached at the hotel. It's really worth a try and budget-friendly. ;)

Another thing is, remember the sales staff who helped me out in the shop, she's a Filipino (Kabayan!) and right after I paid at the cashier, I jokingly asked her: "Ate, may freebies po ba kayo?", in English - "Sister, do you have any freebies?" She just smiled and as if she didn't heard me (no biggie for me, as I was just asking...).
But when I was about to leave, she called my attention and handed me a pack of free creams in a tiny bottles (see photo below), she also suggested to try the eye cream. Woah! I'm so happy I got a freebie!

Yeah, I love freebies, who doesn't?

That's it, starries! Never be ashamed to ask. You'll never know... Haha. Now, that's my first experience with Sasa and I totally love it! I will be coming back to shop again... ;)

I went to Sasa shop in Yishun, Northpoint Shopping Centre. You can look for the Filipino staff, I think her name is Maria (if I'm not wrong), she'll be ready to assist you, for sure. Send my regards to her if you happen to drop by. :)

Share me your shopping experience, too, starries. Feel free to leave a comment below. I'd love to hear from you.

My 5 Travel Tips for Long Flights

Going out to travel soon? It is pretty exciting to go out and venture and discover the other wonders of the world.
Travelling is fun and fulfilling but you should not stress yourself or should it be a burden.

So, that's why you're here to know my personal travel tips. I love to share it with you, of course and you've come to the right place.

Below are my travel tips for long-haul flights to get yourselves ready:

1. Wear Comfortable Clothing.

It's on top of my list because travelling shouldn't be stressful. Wear comfortably. You can wear any casual shirt paired it with leggings or any soft jeans. As for myself, I preferred leggings because it is stretchy and cosy. Just make sure you can move freely and restful throughout the flight (including transits). You can also opt for flats or any shoes that can be taken off easily and can walk in comfort.

2. Don't Hand-Carry Too Much.

Ideally, we are allowed to carry one to two bags on-board. As much as possible, limit yourself to one bag with you for personal belongings such as your wallet, passport, mobile phone, laptop, jewelries and whatever you need to bring with you during the flight. Just also be wary of the things that are not allowed on the aircraft. You might want to check that with the airline, too (just to be sure).

3. Hydrate.

One of the most important tip is to stay hydrated. Avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol before, during and following the flight; even if you are on-transit. This can lead to dehydration and will leave you feeling drained. You don't want to look exhausted and knackered upon arrival to your destination. To help you look relaxed and tranquil, drink plenty of water.

4. Move Around.

Who wants to stay in their seats for the whole flight? Absolutely, no one. Long periods of time sitting can increase the risk of deep vein thrombosis. You are freely allowed to move around during the flight (unless otherwise advised to stay on your seat & fasten your seatbelt for landing), this will allow flow in your blood circulation. You can also do stretching while you are seated. Moreover, you may stand and move around for at least 15-20 minutes.

5. Pack Your Own Toiletries.

Some airlines will give you a complimentary toiletry kit such as eye mask, toothbrush & toothpaste, face towel, wet wipes, and even a pair of socks to keep you warm. Although such these will be given, you must bring your own, too. We are allowed to carry toiletries (liquids) for a maximum and total of 100ml. (check with your airlines, too). Make sure to pack these in a clear / transparent bag like the Ziplock bag and is within easy access. Trust me, you will need these in your travel.

There you go, starries! I bet you can't wait to pack up and enjoy your vacation. Share me your travel stories, okay? In the meantime, as it's almost midnight in here while I'm working on this, I leave you for now and I'll catch up with you again next time. Should you have any additional personal travel tips, feel free to leave a comment below. I love to hear from you.

Birthmonth Celebration

Celebration of life. ^^

[1] Dated: 15th March 2015
[2] Dated: 17th March 2015 (office)
[3] Dated: 24th March 2015 (this is it!)

Not everyone is so close to me but you are all special and you all have a place in my heart. Your one gesture of love, a simple greeting and wishes for me on my birthday filled my heart with so much love.
Your presence are really felt as you spread joyful smiles & cheer.

I celebrated my birthday with a prayer & thanksgiving and a visit to the church, although I wanted to stay at home but hubby insisted to bring me somewhere - a simple dinner with my better half, a stroll around the riverside and a romantic scenic view of Singapore. No fancy restaurants or candle light dinner or any expensive treats or material gifts or requests from me or whatnots...

Nevertheless, my birthday would not be the same without your warm and lovely wishes, your posts in my wall, for those who sent me PMs, Viber, and SMS. I enjoyed reading them one-by-one (that's effortless on my part!). :)
I am so happy and you all made my day extra special. Thank you all so much! ^^
Thank you to my fambam, my relatives and friends and to every one of you! And most importantly, thank you so much Lord for Your unconditional love and bountiful blessings! I love you!!! ❤️

May God continue to bless us so we can be a blessing to others. ❤️

And I leave you this note that I always bear: "Always be kind and the world & its people will never be against you."

Cheers! ^^
